Hi, in the first case i want apologize for my bad english. Now on the subject.

I have problem with online content. I install serviio 1.2.1 on my NAS QNAP TS-119, on my friend notebook and my PC. In all cases after some time (1-3 minutes), serviio is disconnected from my TV. I look in log and there wasnt anything. So i dont know where is problem. I tried it on Samsung UE32ES6800, UE40ES6300 and UE32ES5500, all time same result. I tried it with youtube plugin, live streams and TED. Can you help me with this? Thanks so much.

Does this happen only with online content or local too?

Only online content. I tried serviio in my friend home, his pc, his tv and same think. Dunno why this is happening.

Are you wifi or wired? If wifi, try wires. Also might be a good idea to try a different router?

Like i said, i tried this in my friends home. So there was different router, different pc, different tv. He have UPC, i have ADSL. We both have wi-fi connected TV, ill try connet wire and i let you know. Thx for now.

So, tv connected by wire doing same thing. I try it on Samsung UE32ES5500 and UE32ES6800. I use for both of them "samsung (c/d/e)" profile. I tried play online content on my Samsung Nexus S, with MX Player and same think, it just stop play before regular end. Have someone else problem with online content? Because i rly dont know, where is problem. Wierd is my friend have same problem and we have different TV, internet and i have serviio on nas and he on pc.

I tried change tmp location, change preferred quality and turn on and off "Produce the best video quality" in transcoding. Nothing helped.

EDIT2: For Czech speeking ppl here is same problem and it was on Serviio 0.6.2.

EDIT3: I think this info is very important for our problem, ill try that. Can you look at our profile Samsung C/D/E?

EDIT4: Sony AVReciever STR looks like working, i play four youtube videos in a row and finaly i see how long is video and it can be rewinded and fast forwarded, but MKV doesnt work and more... is it possible create new profile for C/D/E with setting for online transcoding from AVReciever STR?

EDIT5: After five videos Serviio was disconnected, but there was another error:

This error is now very often and some videos on youtube doesnt work, but i think it can be figured out.

EDIT6: I tried edit profiles.xml... i just copy <transcoding> part and <online transcoding> part from Sony AVReciever, delete original from Samsung C/D/E and now its littlebit working (rewind, fast forward, right lenght of video), sometimes shutdown... How is this possible? Coz i tried generic dlna profile and didnt work, but if i understand that right, in Sony AVReciever is nothing important and everything is "copied" from generic profile or not?

Can you enable detailed logging and stream the same video using the stock c/d/e profile and then the Sony profile? I want to compare the FFmpeg command being used.

Hi, I have Samsung Smart TV too (UE32EH5300), and there is the same problem. I tried the same procedure Conic described with same result. Sony profile works perfect.

Samsung C/D/E profile log contains ffmpeg command: (youtube video GNR Don't cry)

ok, can you try to play it again (the above URL has already expired), look at the log again, find the Samsung FFmeg command and run ffmpeg -i for the url (for the above URL it'd look like this):



Don't forget the quotes around the URL. Then post the result here.

Great it works!

But, (there is always some but) some online streams (Adult content) is unsupported now.

Yep, that's because rtmp protocol is only supported via FFmpeg, while http (the youtube example) can be accessed by Serviio natively. So you can have one or the other.

And now what are the priorities?
