My samsung tv can fast forward and backward with samsung all share buti it always make my pc hang.
Can you teach me how to setup this function with serviio?

Posted: Wed May 29, 2013 11:29 amNot sure there is anything to teach, it should just work for native files. Which profile are you using (Samsung A, B or C/D/E profile)?

Posted: Thu May 30, 2013 1:04 amIts an E-Series so you should set Serviio to use the Samsung TV / player (C/D/E-series) profile. Set this profile and try your files...
then, in Serviio console, turn Transcoding off (and press Save) and for any files that fail to fast/forward rewind, try them again. Let us know the outcome. Make sure you put transcoding back on after.

my previous setting is this profile already. I follow your instruction to turn the transcording off. After that, i cannot play this movie.
