I've Little problem using Sopcast and Serviio for see live streaming video from my Samsung Smart tv ue46F6400

When I start software (sopcast and after Smart Tv using DLNA, serviio, videos, online .. .etc) It works perfect

But some times connection is losed and I need to re-start play video on my TV again (seleccting videos-online-etc.) It dont shows any error or message. Only stops playing
It seems that in PC connection "freezes" (stops a few seconds) and after it continues well. But I supose that when TV stops of receiving information, it stops playing video

Any idea? is posible to solve it? is posible to increase buffer for dont lose connection? or any othe solution?

It might be due to the differences between sopcast protocol and http. Sopcast may allow for missing packets, http does not. So if that happens, the stream may get corrupted and the TV confused.

I don't use Sopcast so cannot comment any further on how well it usually works.

Try reading the Sopcast posts and plugin that address this problem.

don't waste your time...
samsung tv refuses to continue to play next stream after dropping first stream. so, no help. better to setup sopcast on pc and stream desktop using vlc...

Guess you haven't bothered to read the posts or plugin either. The plugin will restart the current stream on the TV each time it drops the localhost connection.

Have you tried it on samsung e/f serie, jhb50?

No, but you should not need to because on the restart the TV knows nothing about the previous dropped stream, and will see the restart as a new stream from the localhost which we already know works because it played the first time. Obviously however if the Sopcast stream itself has dropped neither the plugin or your manual vlc desktop stream will work.
