Samsung F serie problem with 59p

Hi,

I've tried to use Serviio to play on my Samsung 40F6500 my camcorder files via DLNA. These files are MP4 h.264 1920x1080@60p (60 progressive frames).
Without transcoding they do not play, so I've tried with "DIrectTV HD-DVR" profile and obtained the same error from TV: frame rate 59p not supported.

The camera specs (Sanyo FH1) show 60p and not 59p. However, how to set servio to transcode properly ?
Is it possible to change only frame rate to 60 ?

Thank you.

Best regards,
cdr

can you post ffmpeg -i of the file. And possibly upload a small video example for me to try to reproduce?

Thanks, I'll look at it in a few days and try to reproduce it.

I have the same problem with the file. There is no way to change frame rate on the fly in Serviio, so you will have to reencode the file to 60fps. Hopefully that will sort that out for you.

Thank you but I've a huge collection of files recorder by Sanyo FH1 and was hoping to see them on my Samsung F6500 through Serviio ...
I think the problem with F6500 serie is for all files with FPS > 30 (progressive); so, will be possible with Serviio to half the frame rate ?

Thank you again.

cdr
