Samsung b series TV will only play very few movies

Firstly let me say that I have tried many DLNA servers and Serviio has the best user interface and the quickest response time of any. Ive also searched this forum and lots of other sources and can't find anything that helps me, so I apologise in advance if this is a problem others have found but I haven't been able to find it.

I installed the latest version yesterday, and basically want to use it to stream movies from my mac mini running osx Mavericks to my B series Samsung LED TVs. When it works , its great, but it doesn't play most of my files (I get the "unsupported file format" error message). It seems to play all .avi files, most .mkv files and hardly any .mp4 files, which unfortunately are the majority of my files. The mp4s, both the ones that play and the ones that don't, are all h264 format. Strangely, earlier today it played one particular .mkv file and now it won't play the same one.
I get proper thumbnails for all the files and as far as I can tell all my files are being recognised.
I'm running Java 7. I've uninstalled and reinstalled serviio, and I've tried setting the log file to debug, but I can't get it to show any detail.

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Are you using the right profile? Also if your mp4 have DRM, they will not play.
