Serviio

I have a Compaq Presario laptop running Windows 7 and a Samsung Smart TV model UN40EH5300F. I have a WinTV-HVR-950Q USB tuner as the TV signal source for the PC. I am using the Hauppage software that was included with the tuner to record shows. Shows are being recorde to an external USB drive. I started out with Samsung Allshare installed on my PC. The TV and PC seemed to talk to each other OK and I could play my PC's recorded shows on the TV, but I was having some issues that were annoying, so I decided to install Serviio (V 1.4.1.2).

My TV sees the Serviio laptop, but it refuses to find any of the video files. The videos are all in .TS format. Any suggestions or tips on how to get my TV to see or find my laptops video files? I tried sharing the USB drive on the network, but that didn't seem to do anything.

On serviio console what profile is listed for your tv?

sounds like you haven't set your profile, you should select samsung C/D/E series

I have a similar issue. I can get to the files on my 1tb drive but not my 4tb drive. I can access the folders on the 4tb but it doesn't detect the video files.

Any suggestions
