What are current Samsung abilities

Greetings all Samsung users!

I am looking to dump my Sony players, because of a firmware change that seems to have damaged DLNA playback. I am wondering how the current sate of Samsung players is. Can they play M2TS, MPG, WMV and MP4 without requiring transcoding? If they exist, can you toggle captions on/off? Can you select different audio tracks? And finally, will they stream HD bitstream audio for the AV receiver to decode?

The latest Sony players will do all that, but some time in the last couple of months I have a bunch of videos that no longer appear in the lists. Looking at Media Browser shows they are in the database, and play fine there. They also appear and play on my Panasonic TV and Roku players, so it's not a Serviio issue.

I've lost faith in Sony products. Help me find a new best player. Besides DLNA streaming without transcoding, my only other requirement is Netflix and Amazon. They all do Netflix, but it's more difficult to find one that supports Amazon Instant Video.

No one can tell me what the latest Samsung players support? Is MKV supported? M2TS? Are captions selectable? Different audio tracks?
