Subtitle extract from mkv

Subtitle extraction from mkv files don't work, from what I understand from the from it has some timeout, but is there anyway to make this work ?

Anyway to make the TV wait somehow or make the ffmpeg extract the content to a .srt so the TV can read on a movie reload ?
