Cant play all of .ts files

I recently moved to using Mediaportal on my HTPC (rather than Mediacentre) and at first my Samsung TV (UE32C5800) seemed to play the .ts files produced from recorded TV (via serviio) fine. Now however it only plays the first 1, 2 or 3 mins of each file.
The files play fine on the HTPC and show the correct length but on the TV, the files only show a few minutes length and play perfectly for the first few minutes but then just stop.
Can anyone suggest a fix please
