Make sure the proper profile is selected in the Serviio console. I've seen Samsung devices not detected accurately. Based on your model number I suggest using the Samsung C/D Series profile. Once you change the profile, make sure you click Save down at the bottom right corner of the console.

I'm not familiar with the user screen on your model, so I can't exactly tell you where to find Serviio. on my H model, there's a box along the bottom of the screen that says "Change Device". Clicking that brings up the list of DLNA enabled devices on your network. Choose the one that says Serviio (computer name).

I have seen devices never show green, but they still work fine. The dot is not a reliable indicator of connectivity. However, red usually indicates the device isn't being seen on the network (it was at one time, or wouldn't be in the list). My Roku players always show yellow, regardless if they are streaming at the time.

If Serviio isn't visible there, that makes me think there's a networking issue somewhere. If you go into Settings and check your network connection, does it say you are connected to the Internet OK? This could be why you are showing red in the console. Might check all your cables, and if using wireless make sure it's connected as well.
