Serviio

when using serviio on a samsung series 7 can you set up external speakers via an amp?
i've tried every channel on the amp and plugged the audio cables from tv to amp but can't get the git to work.
the amp & speakers work fine with pay tv, dvd etc.
any ideas?

my setup is:

- optical audio out from the TV into the amp (to preserve multichannel)
- pick an appropriate source on the amp (set up with the optical audio in)
- select MediaPlay on the TV for the picture
- play
