Hi,

I'm trying to connect my Linux PC (Debian 8 Jessie). My TV is Samsung UE48JU7000. I've started the serviio server and select to share two folders - one with videos and one with pictures. The TV have access to the serviio server and I'm able to see the pictures. But when I open Serviio -> Video -> Folders - My Videos (This my shared folder) the folder is empty. On the computer in this folder there are avi and m4v video files and subtitles.
I can't see Samsung 7 Series in the profiles, but try with other Samsung profiles. Also configured the router to enable Multicast Streams.

Can you help me with this?

I'm not familiar with the latest Linux builds. Are they coming with a firewall configured by default? Although if you see pictures but not videos that's not the problem.

By the way, your TV is not a 7 Series. It is a JU series. Right now the H Series profile is the closest match for a J/JU, but not perfect. However, it should work with the vast majority of videos.

Try renaming an M4V file to MP4 and see if it shows up. Usually when you browse the folders it shows files regardless if Serviio thinks they will play. I am assuming the videos don't appear under the Title or Movies category.

Have you looked in the MediaBrowser to see if they appear there? If you are still within 15 days of installing Serviio you can access it without the Pro license.
