Subtitles hard to read

Hi,

Is there a way to change the way subtitles are displayed? I have a Samsung UE40F8000 and the subtitles are displayed in pure white. Whenever there is bright scene the subs are very hard to read. I already looked into the Samsung settings but there's nothing to change except the size.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Re: Subtitles hard to read

Are you using an SRT file, or subtitles as a separate track in the file? If so, it's your player that controls the appearance of the subs.

If you are enabling subs burned into the video stream by Serviio, then you have a fair question that I personally cannot answer. Someone else will need to address it.
