I have a samsung LN52B750 and Serviio running on Mac 10.6. I am trying to initially setup and configure to stream mostly videos. Currently when I go to my media menu on my TV I can see serviio as a device and select it, but my folders are all empty. I have only the folders that I have chosen to display. I have allowed plenty of time for the library to scan (multiple days.) I am unsure of what to try next. Another thing is after restarting computer the folders I have previously chosen to share are no longer listed and I have to select them again. Thanks in advance for the help, seems like wonderful software I just need to figure out how to use it properly.

log looks fine no errors, so im not sure other than some kind of permission issue and the DBs not be saved correctly.

Thanks for the quick reply. I wound up uninstalling and reinstalling and that seemed to do the trick but now the TV says "Not Supported File Format." I thought the transcoding took care of that? I have the profile set properly (B-series). They are all H.264 AAC .m4v movies encoded using Handbrake.

I would post the details of the file, but I can't figure out how. I looked at the howto section and I don't understand the instructions at all.

I keep getting
"Adam-Ripleys-iMac:library Adam$ ffmpeg -i /users/adam/movies/role models.m4v
-bash: ffmpeg: command not found"
I have CD'd to the proper directory (I copied ffmpeg to the library folder to make it easier) but for some reason it is not finding the command.
