SAMSUNG SMART TV - Disconnects

I have a Samsung ue46es6300 and running Serviio on my PC which is connected via Ethernet cable directly to the ASUS RT-AC87U router which in turn is connected to the Samsung TV via Ethernet.

I notice that I can stream movies, for the most part, uninterrupted via Serviio but some of the smaller 30-45 min files ( MKV) often get the dreaded "Server disconnected - check your connection" message.

I had the same problem with a different router, which is one of the reasons why I upgraded to a better quality router.

Seems to be an ongoing problem though, had the same problem using Samsung Allshare to do my streaming. Has there ever been an identified problem or solution to these disconnects? Router Firmware and TV Firmware are all up to date.
