FF/Rew not working post-upgrade

So, I'm using a Samsung H profile for a Samsung BluRay device, and it was working great with FF/Rew/Pause on all profile types (except MKV's which still won't show up). After the latest upgrade though, all FF/Rew/Pause functionality on WMV-files only (we think) is no longer working. Any thoughts on what might have happened? Also...
Any any thoughts on how to get my stranded MKV files to play on the Samsung device?

Hi,

can you post ffmpeg -i for an example file and also detailed log of playing the file and trying to ffwd / rev?

Do you get ffwd on any files at all?

Thanks for jumping in Zip!
I'm trying to tackle the FF/Rew issue before I delve into the MKV file problem. I appreciate the help! I've attached two files as requested. I just removed the media and library info. Let me know if I removed something you need though. ;-)

Again, my sincere thanks.

Hi, the log doesn't seem to be complete - it doesn't include starting playing the file

OK. I may have removed something then. Here's the log that was unedited...

Still not there. You may have files like serviio.log.1 in the directory, zip all those up and attach - the log is rolling

Yep... logs .1-.3 were from the same time. I've zipped those up and attached.

Thanks!

Thanks. Just to be clear, it was working on which version, and which version are you using now (it looks like 1.6, but 1.6.1 is the latest).

The file is transcoded, so that's why the TV won't allow you to seek. Try to disable transcoding and play the file again.

The previous version I was running was likely in the 1.5 series then. I upgraded not too long ago, and it was a major version upgrade (web interface, etc.). I'll try to disable transcoding and see if that works! I never changed any transcoding settings I don't think.

Ok...FWIW...the transcoding option wasn't checked. So, I'm not sure that's it. (attached screenshot)

Try 1.6.1

1.6.1 worked, and WMV's are able to go through FF/REW/Pause again.

Any thoughts at all on the MKV issue? All I've gotten is that the file is not a playable format. I've tried enabling transcoding, but it doesn't appear to make any difference.

For what it's worth...here's a FFMPEG- -i of an MKV file that won't play:

ffmpeg version 2.4.git Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the FFmpeg developers
built on Nov 19 2014 22:12:09 with gcc 4.7.2 (GCC)
configuration: --enable-static --disable-shared --disable-ffplay --disable-ffserver --enable-memalign-hack --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libass --enable-librtmp --enable-fontconfig --enable-libfreetype --enable-zlib --enable-libx264 --enable-libspeex --extra-libs='-lrtmp -lpolarssl -lws2_32 -lwinmm -lexpat -lfreetype -lfribidi -lz' --arch=x86 --enable-runtime-cpudetect --enable-pthreads --target-os=mingw32 --cross-prefix=i686-w64-mingw32- --enable-gpl --pkg-config=pkg-config
libavutil 54. 14.100 / 54. 14.100
libavcodec 56. 12.101 / 56. 12.101
libavformat 56. 14.100 / 56. 14.100
libavdevice 56. 3.100 / 56. 3.100
libavfilter 5. 2.103 / 5. 2.103
libswscale 3. 1.101 / 3. 1.101
libswresample 1. 1.100 / 1. 1.100
libpostproc 53. 3.100 / 53. 3.100

The device just complains that it's not a playable format.

And now it may seem I spoke too soon. After it seemed the WMV's were controllable again, I was looking at the profiles for the MKV problem. I edited a profile, and when that didn't work, I restored the original. Apparently after deleting and restoring several times, I may have made a mistake (although I didn't think so) and the WMV's didn't work again. I reinstalled 1.6.1 over again. But that still didn't work. I'm uninstalling and re-installing...we'll see.

Didn't work. Now I'm back to the same issue I was at with the WMV's not working, and a clean install of 1.6.1

WMV's working again. MKV's still not.
