Samsung 49" Curved 4K Ultra HD LED TV UN49KU650DFXZA

So I have Serviio installed on my desktop PC and it is easily recognized by all my DLNA devices. However when I try to do the same thing using my Mac Book while visiting my parents during the holidays. I got my parent's house the new Samsung Curved 4K TV UN49KU650DFXZATV and it does a fine job recognizing the Serviio but does not recognize any of the content I have listed in the shared folder. I have triple checked everything including the shared the data folders but I can't seem to figure out whether this is a PC vs Mac issue, a Vizio vs Samsung issue or perhaps something about the different networks. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you are using the Samsung J profile. If it is set to the generic profile that might be an issue.

What sort of videos are on the Mac for sharing? The Samsung can play quite a few types without transcoding, but you never know.
