Hi! I'm new in this forum.
I look for this issue in this forum but i didn't find something related.

I have installed Serviio 0.52 under windows XP, and it works great. Better than any other DLNA server I have tested.
There is only a problem when playing music, it don't show cover art. Browsing folder shows covers but not when playing music.
TV is Samsung UN32D5550.

Hope somebody can help me to solve this thread.

I have a B series and have the same problem - it's normal. On C series it shows them. Can you try Samsung's PC Share manager to see if the TV really supports them?

I have tried with Samsung AllShare 2.0 and it show cover art while playing music.

Try with a small library, because it take year for creating a medium - long library.

can you turn on detailed logging and post the bit when you're playing the audio file?

I`m not in home, but i have my computer ¿log still stored? if it still ¿How can i find that bit you say?

search for the song's name in the log.

there should be another request for COVER_IMAGE just above that. if there is not then the TV won't display the cover art

I will try again. Log have a lot of records, maybe miss some ones.

This is the log file that where created, i just turn on computer and play a mp3 "01 Thunderstruck.mp3" as fast as i can trying to reduce log size but still being so long.

It doesn't ask for the cover image, not sure why as it's advertised. Can you confirm there is a Resource for the thumbnail if you browse to the file via Intel's AV Media Controller?

It seems that this particular file have cover resources, resources are listed as shown in the attached images.

In that case I'm not sure. For some reason the TV doesn't load it, hard to debug this without the TV here Could you try any other server (other than Samsung's) to see if they support this?

Is there a posiblility that is happening the same problem you experienced with your B series??

No, the B series doesn't show it even for the Samsung's server.

Now i´m trying with TVMobili and it doesn't show cover art.

Now i have tested Mezzmo 2.3.1.0 and it doesn't show cover.

I don't know why only Samsung's allshare app is the only that show music covers.
Hope some day serviio shows it too.

I was checking log on Samsung's server while playing a song, i found that it is not using images located in the same folder where mp3 are, it creates another folder in installation dir where stores a copy of original images and resizes it. And it looks that creates a relation between resized file with xxxxxxxxxx.jpg name and mp3 file.

Here are three xml files extracted with Device Spy, i have created three ones because device spy detect three devices whith the same name, UN32D5550.

If it's necesary to sniff network packets just tell me, i frequently use wireshark. I don't know if i should use another tool for this purpose.
