Serviio using from Samsung TV over internet

Hello. I have Serviio Pro. At home I am using Serviio installed on my NAS and I can connect from Samsung TV with DLNA without problems. Is more better and quicker than Plex I think. Plex was horrible ... I need to use Serviio from TV but not from ethernet but internet. I didn't find application in Samsung apps. Is there some way how to use Serviio with TV from internet? I have public IP adress and I have port 23423 and 23424 forwarded. DSvideo works like this, but I like more more Serviio. Thank you for answer.

Not certain I am following you. But if you mean connecting to your Serviio computer with a TV that is not connected to your home network, the answer is no. DLNA only works for devices all connected to the same internal network, and will not route across the Internet.

Since you have Pro, you CAN use the MediaBrowser to view your media from a device connected across the Internet. But since it's browser based you have to ensure the web browser in the device supports video streaming. Some might, some might not. I've played with the browser on my Samsung a little, but never tried it to access my Serviio box, so can't say if it would work or not. All you can do is to try it. I believe most Samsung smart TVs have a web browser, so give it a try. Of course, you have to know your home public IP address, or use a dynamic DNS service.

By the way, I wouldn't port forward 23423, since that's just your console access and it's not password protected. Anyone on the Internet could connect to your console and mess with it.
