Problem with Sound Interruption on Samsung Smart TV...

When streaming from a Windows 7 PC to my Samsung Smart TV, I once in a while get a very short interruption in the sound of the video; the video itself seems fine. I use a sound bar (the Vizio S2120w-e0 2.0 w/ Tru Surround, Bluetooth) for the audio. The same video file has no problem playing on my PC; but the streaming to my Samsung Smart TV gets a short sound interrupt every few minutes, as if the there is a delay of the sound to either the TV or to the sound bar which is connected to the TV. I have played around with the settings on the Smart TV and have made the delay as short as possible (a setting of 0), but this has not gotten rid of the problem; a longer delay makes things worse. What is the issue here? And how can I get ALL my video files to properly get the sound to play normally through the entire video? Thank you.

How is your TV connected to the network: hard wired or Wi-Fi? If wireless, you might be experiencing interference on the channel you are using. If your TV supports the 5 GHz band, try that first if you aren't already (assuming your wireless has both 2.4 and 5 GHz radios). Next suggestion is to change the channel your router uses for wireless. Most all are set to Auto by default, and sometimes the channel they choose isn't the best one.
