mp3 format not recognized

I recently downloaded a load of mp3 files from one particular artist. When I go to Audio and the artist, al lot of the files give me them message "This file format is not supported, Skip, Stop, Details". Yet I can play them just fine on my laptop using Windows Media Player. What is wrong with Serviio that it won't play these files on my TV?

Re: mp3 format not recognized

It's not Serviio, it's your player. You posted this under Samsung, but you didn't describe what you are using for a player. Also advise which profile is assigned to your player in the Serviio console. If everything else looks correct, then we need to see what's actually inside your MP3 container. Instructions to get that info is in a link you will find in my sig line.
