Video categories I have choose to be displayed on TV (last added and last viewed) do show on TV but TV stops working when trying to access them.
Serviio v 2.0 on Windows 10 x64 Home, last update installed, TV Samsung UE37D6500
I have attached a screenshot of the categories in use. Series and Folders open, last added and last viewed give an error.

Which profile is assigned to your TV? Serviio attempts to assign the best profile for a device, but sometimes it doesn't use the best. In theory your TV should have the "Samsung TV / player (C/D-series)", but sometimes a different profile works better.

I don't have that old of a Samsung set, but the two I do have display fine. Can you be more specific about which category you are accessing that causes the TV to stop working? Is it the Last Added and Last Viewed, or is it any of them? And exactly what does the error say?

But I also have to add my usual rant about how poor the Samsung DLNA client works in their sets. It's a miserable user interface, and often won't play media that should play. I've had Samsung TVs for over 6 years, and I gave up on using the internal player long ago. A Blu Ray player that supports DLNA will do a better job, as will any Roku player, Fire TV Stick, or Nvidia Shield.

Thank you for your answer. i attached a screenshot of how my TV is displayed.
The name stands correct.
I do not use many categories for video, mainly last viewed and last added.
Both were working fine before update to v 2.0. last added was working after that.
Now last added when accessing returns to the video root and doesn't display any content
Last viewed starts spinning the wheel and doesn't stop until I shut down the TV.

Thank you for the clarification. I'm not certain if the Serviio log will show anything in particular, but it might help if we could see it. You can attach the file here to a post.

It's also possible that when you upgraded to version 2.0, something might have messed up in the database. Unfortunately, the only solution for that would be to remove Serviio, reboot the computer, then install it again clean. Depending on the number of media files and locations you have media stored, it might take 15 minutes and it might take over an hour. Only you can decide if it's worth the time. I can do an install and setup in a matter of minutes, but then I've been playing with Serviio for 8 years now. :D

Unless you'd rather jump into the reinstall, let's look at the log first.

OK, for this kind of issue, we need the developer to look at the log. So hopefully Zip will see this thread and take a look.

That would be great. I'm using Serviio for many years, and being able to access last viewed and last added was very helpful.
