Just wondering if I am supposed to see album art when playing music via Samsung D6500 blu-ray player. My TV screen just shows the generic logo for any song. The folder on the PC has album art in it. And I'm pretty sure i've checked the appropriate check boxes on the Serviio console. Thumbnales show up ok for video files.

no music album art doesnt work on D series devices at the current time, but this is being worked on ..

Is this slated to work on any of the Samsung series TV's?

The album art is displaying fine with B-series and C-series Samsung TV's currently. It is only the newer D-series devices that are having issues with the album art display due to some changes made by Samsung. The issue has been looked at and a solution is being sought.

Perhaps zip can comment on the progress made so far?

I didn't really look at this. AFAIK, the album art is shown when you browse categories on all the models. It's only not shown when you actually play the track. This is the case on my B series. On my other one, C series, the art is shown during playback. I don't have a D series so cannot confirm, but looks like it's missing. I looked at it briefly before (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2436#p14558) but didn't find any obvious reason.

I was just wondering if there's been any progress on this topic. I'm now running Serviio .601 with a Samsung D6420 TV. Album art still not showing when playing a song.

Hi all,

Just thought i'd bump this up to flag it as still being a 'problem'.
Just started using Serviio on my desktop PC, and noticed the album art is not displayed on my Samsung UE40D5520 TV.
Very impressed with serviio otherwise, so thanks.
