Serviio not playing .mkv with multi subs ?!

Hi all,

I have a Samsung 6 Series (40) (UE40MU6100) television. I have serviio installed on my computer with which I stream from my computer to the television. If i stream a .mkv with multi subs inside of it the picture gets blurred and it don't play good. It's not possible to watch a moviet.

Is this a serviio problem or is it something else ? I only have it with .mkv files with multi subs. I have subtitles enabled in the serviio console as i use my own dutch.srt file and transcoding is not enabled. I use serviio 2.2

Any help is appreciated.

greets from Holland!

Re: Serviio not playing .mkv with multi subs ?!

Greetings!

If you have burn-in subtitles enabled, then you're still transcoding, even if it is disabled. When you say you have subs enabled in the console, I am guessing you are referring to burn-in. It's possible your computer isn't powerful enough to transcode the video. I'd have to know more details about what you're attempting to play as far as codecs in use.
