Just upgrading to a newer version of Windows doesn't change the license for Serviio. If you upgrade Serviio from a licensed version of 1.x to Serviio 2.x, you need to purchase a new Serviio license. But there is no need to install a new version of Serviio just because you updated your version of Windows.
If you had a Serviio license for pre-version 2, just install an older version of Serviio and use the license you have. But if you desire the benefits of Serviio version 2.x, you must pay for a new license. Version 1.x licenses are not valid for version 2 of Serviio.
