Serviio has disappeared from source list on my Samsung TV

Until yesterday Serviio appeared in the Sources list on my Samsung TV (QN55Q80AA). Now it's gone. I can't explain how it was originally placed there; my technical understanding is extremely limited. I have an ethernet connection from my Dell to a D-Link router near the TV. The router feeds the A/V receiver as well as the TV and a Blu-Ray. If I go through the smart Blu-Ray I can still see Serviio, but the primary way I watched videos from the computer was via the smart TV...where it's no longer visible.

Serviio mysteriously disappeared several months ago, but days later re-appeared just as mysteriously.

I've checked services and Serviio starts up automatically (not delayed start). It's currently running.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you still see Serviio on your Blu Ray player, the problem is not with Serviio. It appears your TV has lost its network connection. Do any other Smart TV functions still work, such as Netflix or other streaming source?

Serviio advertises it's availability via a broadcast message, and for some reason your TV is not getting it. Since your connection is wired, it's not likely to be any security setting in your router blocking devices from seeing each other, especially since the BD player still sees Serviio. It might be as simple as the Ethernet cable that connects your TV to the router has a broken wire (there's 8 wires within the cable). You might try switching your TV to WiFi and see if Serviio shows up. If it does, that pinpoints the problem to the cable connection.
