SAMSUNG

Hi,
I have an old but fantastic and beloved SAMSUNG UN55H8000 (it is still a 1920x1080 screen, but that has a fantastic curved screen, with an extremely fast processor, and an uncomparable remote control )
Nevertheless, I face some problems with almost all Samsung Serviio profiles I've ever tried.
I have no idea about what is the proper series (A, B, C , D E, H....) because the model is called series 8 .... and there is no series 8 in Serviio options.
Any clue about the best choice in Serviio ?

Re: SAMSUNG

Your model number tells you. The UN55H8000 is an H series. That profile is written for the 1080 sets, so any H.265 content will be transcoded. All profiles after H (J, NU) are written for 4K sets.

Re: SAMSUNG

Thanks. I was concerned that "H" had no correlation with Serviio's series description.
