Re: Samsung C dosen`t recognize serviio???

Post your serviio.log file.

And the IP addresses of the TV and the Computer running serviio.

Also what is the brand and model of your router.

Did you recently install any software or drivers?

IP addresses:

TV: 192.168.72.20
PC: 192.168.72.26

Router: AVM FritzBox 3370

I`ve nothing changed on the PC! The only thing what`s possible is that the TV auto-updated his Software! But I`m not sure if he really did!

IP addresses:

TV: 192.168.72.20
PC: 192.168.72.26

IP address from the serviio.log is 192.168.178.26 I also found in the log that the computer that is running serviio is changing it's IP address. I would recommend that you change the TV and the Interface that you are using on the computer to a static IP Address
  Code:
[DiscoverySSDPMessageListener] Starting DiscoverySSDPMessageListener using interface eth3 (Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection) and address 192.168.178.26, timeout = 0

Found other device renderers

  Code:
Stored a new renderer: uuid='ca8198f2-20f3-4179-a4f1-6254debdfb7a', name = 'Unrecognized device', ipAddress='192.168.178.10', profile = '1'

Re: Samsung C dosen`t recognize serviio???

After running perfectly for a couple of months, I have the same problem. When I press the MEDIA.P button on my remote I now get a message "No external storage device found. Check the connection status." The only thing new is that I moved my office desktop back home.

I have assigned a static IP address (10.10.10.10). My server PC is 10.10.10.100. When I do a network check on the Samsung UN46C6300, I am able to connect to the internet (4 green check marks). I have set the bound IP Address to 10.10.10.10.

My log file is too big to attach (1.3mb).

Any guidance/help is greatly appreciated.

what's the IPO of the PC running serviio? you have to put that in the Bound IP address field.

he has 4 network card really!!! that look like VMware or some virtual lan stufff to me and thats what causing the issue serviio cant get the actual ip only a virtual one.

Re: Samsung C dosen`t recognize serviio???

Fascinating.

For some reason, the logs showed that Serviio was set to localhost (127.0.0.1) on both my desktop and on my netbook (server).

After putting the computer IP address in the Bound IP Address block ( ) and restarting Serviio on both machines, they showed up on the Samsung TV,

All is well.

Many thanks.

Re: Samsung C dosen`t recognize serviio???

Hello,

I am having this problem also, it seems it only works for a while after restarting PC, Router and blue-ray player (Sometimes). It constantly drops out and/or is not recognised, I have put IP of the PC in bound IP address, even tried forwarding serviios ports in firewall. PC and Blu-ray are static. I am using latest update. Whats the difference between stopping server in the console and stopping the actual service ?

I am using:

Avast
Belkin Surf router
Win XP
Samsung BD-C5900

PC: 192.168.2.3
BR: 192.168.2.2

I have attached the log file (If it is the one in c:\program files\serviio\log\serviio.log)

Re: Samsung C dosen`t recognize serviio???

Please dont hijack old posts

Your issue isnt the same as OP as in he would not detect at all all your is detecting but then loosing connection. first thing i would do i disable the DLNA function of your router as this is the most lieklything to be causing the issue.

mods: can we split this thread please.
