[SOLVED] No .TS Thumbnails

I have a Samsung TV and a Samsung BR both 2011 models that support DLNA and both use the Samsung C/D profile.

All my videos except .ts files display thumbprints. .ts files just show a grey film canister. Any idea why?

I have looked in the DEBUG log and the .ts files are all found in the DB but there apprears to be no attempt to extract tuumbs from the file.

How do I trigger that extract. The thumb option is already set under metadata in the console.

I've edited my previous post to reference my debug log. I'd appreciate advice on why .ts files will not access a thumbnail.

thumbs are not "extracted" from the file but from on-line database and if metadata not found, ffmpeg create a thumb from the video stream (at 120s).
You could try to rename your .ts files and force library refresh then check the log.

I refreshed the database and the .ts icons are back. Thanks for your help.

rename the .ts file to .mpg
