Serviio recognised only after TV restart
Ok, so i've got serviio streaming to my Samsung C580 with no problems, disconnects etc. except...
...if the server is started while the TV is on, it's not picked up by Samsung. The only way to get it to connect is to restart the TV. I had the same issue with Tversity, although if i run Twonky (from my android device) the TV picks it up straight away. It's not the end of the world, but a bit of a pain having to constantly restart the telly.
Things i've done/checked:
1. Bound IP address to lan (192.168.1.65) in network settings
2. Set TV as to static ip address to 192.168.1.66 in router (Thomson SpeedTouch TG585v7)
3. Checked ports on firewall/tried disabling firewall (firewall is not the problem).
4. I'm running serviio on Windows XP SP3
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
thanks,
alan.
