Hi,

I am trying to play some audio .dts and .wav files on my D5700 Samsung.
After I add the folders to the library in the Serviio console, I browse for those files, but I cannot see them in order to play them. It looks like they do not get indexed.

Can you plese let me know what I am missing.

I am using default installation profiles.

Thank you.

Hi,

thank you for taking the time to answer.

I am looking at the server log file, and it says:
"2012-01-19 18:13:54,610 INFO [LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] Finished looking for newly added files"

I assume that this means it finished scanning all folders and subfolders.

yer check permissions on the folder with the file in as if SYSTEM doesnt have access serviio wont be able to index the files.

Since it seems to be indexing some of the files in the same folder, but not some specific ones like (.dts, .wav), I assume that this is something to do with the Profiles and not with the access right, correct?

One more thing: I have some Pioneer DTS demo file (.m2ts format).
Some of them can be played on the TV, but for some I get: unssuported video codec / unsupported audio codec.

I guess, there are more settings to be done before being able to play everything :D.

Thank you

Search the serviio.log file for one that does not show up and post here any error.

also look in the folder view as see if the files are there but no metadata found.
