hi there,
i struggled for some time trying to get certain rss feeds to play adequately without audio / video sync issues and dropouts on my samsung b series tv to no avail. my everything but the kitchen sink approach to the problem is detailed in this lengthy monologous thread viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5518&start=10. i'd like to know whether there are any b series tv owners who HAVE had luck with rss feeds - particularly hulu, cbs, some youtube?

I have B series and I can watch YouTube feeds. But there might be a/v sync problems, especially if the connection is not good enough. It doesn't seem to be a problem in C series.

thanks for the input, zip. my specs are listed in my sig. i am actually streaming wired to wired tv. some rss feeds work flawlessly (crackle, blip, dailymotion, youtube (for the most part), vimeo. hulu & cbs have serious sync issues. i'd really love to get hulu working because the selection is so great. so do you reckon the b series' hardware simply isn't capable or is there reason to think that any of the available hacks via samygo might help enable solid streaming of these rss feeds and the live HD channels? i've only just started toying with their project's apps and while they do include serviio as one of the compatible programs, i'm assuming that the dlna hacks are applicable only to the original samsung dlna.

thanks

I'd try - update to latest TV firmware, update to latest FFmpeg, try then
If it doesn't help, you could try to transcode all online content to mpeg2.

thanks, zip. i'm looking at the link regarding adjustment of the profile.xml file now (http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option ... icle&id=24).

ok! thanks, zip! mpeg2 worked! there may be some videos that won't play but all in all the channel rss feeds now work in sync.

reference for others who may be needing to tweak their settings for an older tv:
