Serviio vs Samsung D5500 - WiFi stream problem

Hello everyone,
I have troubles with my Samsung UE40D5500 and Serviio streaming using WiFi.

The problem comes when I open movie on my TV to stream, than black screen with "Loading..." appears and takes too long to start... a few minutes for sure
And when the video starts, immediately gets stuck after 1 sec and again "Loading..." and so all round

I have TP-Link router and 10mbps/100kbps internet.

Hope someone will help :)

Best,
PDESD

Seems like video quality is too high for Your wifi setup. Is Your router G standard? If You try to stream 720p and up videos, G is usually not enough. It also depends on the distance from the router to the tv (and pc if it is connected to it wirelessly).

If possible, always connect pc and tv to the router with the cable.

Re: Serviio vs Samsung D5500 - WiFi stream problem

Thank you for your answer YTMY.

My router is: TP-Link TL-WR740N Lite N, standard: 802.11 b/g/n-light
Distance from Pc to TV is about 11-12 m

Now, Im not sure if that one is enough for 720p videos...

Yes, I tried to stream 720p videos and some high res images (it's very slow with images too)

I thought to buy LAN cable and give it a try...

Its nothing wrong I guess, just too big distance and/or too weak signal. If Your router is N standard, all Your clients (tv) must be N too to benefit from increased throughput.

Good luck with the router. ;)
