All files "not currently supported"

I tried serviio a couple of days ago and was impressed, my Samsung tv connected to my PC running the serviio software and I played some avi's and mp4's - no problem.

Since then though, whatever file I choose (and it still shows them all while browsing) I get a message "The selected file is not currently supported". The only videos I can play are the ones I played the first day I tried it, under "My List", but not if I browse by folder again. Why could this be?

It's OK, I found I didn't need Serviio since Windows 7 had DLNA support built in. Or does it do something else I need?

Yes, it doesn't transcode every single file it plays if the tv natively supports it. Windows 7 as DLNA server for movies is not good...

Make sure you select the right profile (Samsung C/D/E series). If it keeps happening you should give your TV static IP address on your router as well.
