Which profile do i use for the TV: UE40ES5500? it lists 'Series' of TVs but i dont know which this is. The software picked 'Generic DNLA Profile' automatically. should i use this?

just install Serviio on Mac and looking for the TV to pick up some test media in a certain folder and its not...

if your saying you cant see any media, then this is not a profile issue...profiles affect transcoding and such.
common gotcha on my samsung is to choose video media in tv interface when looking at music folders and vice versa...other than that you could use the intel upnp media controller utility to browse the serviio dlna library/database to confirm the content is in the library or review the serviio logs (both of which there are helpfull posts on how to do).
