well, I did some testing and I installed the serviio on my laptop (win7). Using this server I'm able to play subtitles without any problems. So the problem lays somewhere in the NAS Serviio. Plex Media server also doesn't play subtitles. Only Synology Media Server does work.
With the transcoding I have no success.
