Missing Video Content?

I Run a Samsung UA55ES7100 smart TV and got sick of adding movies into my library but it being luck of the draw as to when Allshare will refresh and let me view them, so I just downloaded Serviio this morning. All my videos are on the one hard drive, grouped into several main folders for Movies, TV shows my sons movies... etc.

When I go into Serviio on the TV the folders are all visible in the "Folders" folder but the content is missing from a few folders. Do I need to just have all the movies, TV shows etc just in one folder and let serviio sort it out? Or is there something I need to do to get these other folders to recognise their content? Im new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you can organize your content any way you wish. It sounds like you may have a profile issue with your TV.

What profile do you have selected for this device under the status tab in the serviio console?

Hello,

I seem to have the same problem here,

just got serviio as the "all share" would not start on my computer at all..

So it is the same as for the previous guy: I get the files shared (movies and music to be specific) on serviio, then browse folders on my samsung es 5500 and they all are empty, even though all the content seems to be there when I look at it via "media browser"...

Status profile has been mentioned here, but I do not see if I could change anything there, there is nothing to choose from, it shows only the TV..

Any Ideas?

can you post detailed log of browsing to the folder?
