Hello, and thanks for an great program to stream my media to my devices. So far so good. However, after changing my BD player from a Sony to a Samsung . I am not able to FF/Rew any media from Serviio. I used to be able to do this on my Sony BD player. I did change the profile to C/D/E (was generic previously for this device). Also my TV has the same issue. I did read there is an issue with the D series, but nothing about the "E". I'm hoping its fixable or I am doing something wrong. Would be great to have FF/Rew ability again! I am able to view without issue on both player and TV (separate rooms).

Additionally I am running the server and console on the same Mac. A Mac Pro 1,1 with the following:

Mac OS X 10.7.5
2x 2.66GHz Dual Core Xeon
ATi 5770
16GB Ram
2x SSD 256GB RAID 0 Boot drive
650GB Time machine drive for backup
2TB HDD storing all movies

thanks for any help you can provide. :)

If the file is transcoded, Samsung doesn't support ffwd. If not, it supports it on some file types.

I could deal with the FFW issue. However, some of my movies seems to drop audio (all so briefly). during play back. My Sony BD player doesn't seem to have that issue. I just tested that out tonight as I played back the same file on both. Sony worked perfectly, the Samsung not so good.

I think I am going to take back the Samsung and get another small Sony player. Hopefully, that fixes all my issues. As the current Sony I have is too big to fit in my entertainment center. I got the samsung cause it was smaller, and I liked how the TV worked with all the smart features. I figured it would work well on my main tv that doesn't have all that stuff. But, not so..

Ok, I solved my issue. Its called, get a Sony. My issues are now solved. Everything plays well, and I can FF/Rew no problem. The BDP-S3100 is FAST, and really works great with SERVIIO and all my movies so far.

Thanks for a great app! :D
