Question about metadata

Hi

I just got serviio up and running on my thecus nas. I can play my files on my Samsung tv, that is all good :-)

My question is now. When i choose metadata form online providers, what can i expect to see on my Samsung. All i see now is a very small thumbnail of the movie, can i get more than that or is that not possible with dlna?
Thx for answer :-)

Brian

PS: If i include xmbc nfo and tell to use that as meta data, the files dosent show on tv?

Yep, TVs usually don't display any additional metadata.

I have the same issue so... I think it's a TV DLNA client side limit that not support the retrieving of metadata thumbnail.. right??

the spec allows for all sorts of metadata, Serviio sends some of it, but most clients ignore it
