Serviio

Good afternoon,

I`ve been trying to make serviio visible on samsung c7000 smart tv but seems impossible.
Serviio shows the pc bound ip address (10.10.10.116), samsung smart tv profile (10.10.10.127).
I opened the 8895 and 1900 ports on eset firewall.
But tv still doesn`t recognizes any conection.

so you see the device in the serviio console but your not able to see the server from you TV? I would try dropping all firewalls completely just to see if there is something else being blocked.

I am having this same issue. I can see my ln46c630k1fxza samsung tv on my console but the tv cant see serviio. I have all firewalls disabled. Im using ubuntu 12.10. All ports are open on our network, the tv can see my computer even. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it finally though. Apparently multicasting wasn't setup right for some reason, added static route to my router and bam-o it was there.
