Set Up
Serviio v1.2.1 installed on Win 7 on Acer Media PC

Panasonic Plasma TV accessing media streaming via Sony BDP-S480 Blu Ray Player which is Ethernet cabled to my home wireless router

Hi, I'm a newbie having a slight problem with Serviio which I've installed today. I had a few teething problems initially with setting the correct path to the location of my media files on the PC and also making sure that the correct access permissions were set on those folders, but I think that this is now resolved as I can see my folders and play movies in those folders perfectly well.

My problem is that although the same folders contain photographs, not a single one is actually visible in the folder, only movies appear as filenames. When I try to browse a folder that contains only photo's, I get the message on screen that "There is no playable file" The actual image files remain invisible.

Not sure if relevant but the photo's and movies are all accessed via Adobe Photoshop Elements v10 and the photo's are definitely JPG format.

I've searched this forum and didn't see a problem quite like this so thought I would post. My apologies if I missed something. Any suggestions on how to resolve? Sorry I haven't added a log, the thought messing about in config brought me out in a sweat! Willing to do this if necessary.

Many thanks!

On Sony bluray Xbar Menu, you have to browse from Photo section to see images and Video section to see movies.

Thanks very much, all sorted! Have always used the movie, lovefilm, column before and didn't even think of the photo column - school boy error!

Cheers!
