PS3 twitch resalution

when i stream twitch to my ps3 or my Sony TV one or two inch's are off the side of the screen.
The ps3 you tube app does this also.

Can i add a border during trans-coding to fix this and have it shrinks so it fits to screen properly?
Or can i use another format that will fit by default?

Ty for you time...

I was having that trouble too; it turned out to be a problem with how the TV was framing the image. On my TV (a Samsung), I set the picture size to "Just Scan" and that fixed it.

I have a Sony 46 ex750, there is no option for just scan I'm pretty sure.

Also when i put the image in normal the image goes square and the edges are still cut off.
I'm wondering if i even find a scan option if the image is being cut off and still won't show.

Anyone else have any other ways of fixing this PLZ TY...

Could you provide information about the stream format ?

With Sony Bravia device, when video is transcoded to mpeg2video, there is an option used in the profile "DAR=16:9" to "fit" image to the screen resolution.
But we know that in some cases, there are some pixels lost on border side, read the complete topic about this here : viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2956

The stream format is 720P from Twitch.

Thanks for that link.

So i lose an inch off top bottom and left and right.

What's an easy fix so that any thing i stream to the PS3 will format properly. (I'm using Seviio 1.1 so the twitch add-on will work)

I see those yellow lines on the page you linked and don't know where to add them. i am a complete newb now with this kind of stuff.

Ty so much for your help...
