Serviio

Hi

Been using Serviio with my Toshiba TV using the Toshiba REGZA profile for about a year now all working fine.

Last weekend my son bought a slim PS3 and Serviio was recognised straightaway and the PS3 profile applied automatically. All worked
perfectly for 3 days.

Last night, seemingly out of nowhere, it took ages to find the Serviio server and when it did it came up with the 2104 DLNA error.
I tried re-booting the Serviio machine but still came up with the same error. When I tried downstairs on the Toshiba has no problems.

Setup is as follows:

Box running Ubuntu 12.04
Latest update of Serviio - and not much else
Wired network (CAT5)
Netgear router - DHCP addressing

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

No, never had it (also have a slim), but lots on the web. Seems to be multiple solutions proffered:

• Change from wireless to cable, or visa versa!
• Turn off any firewalls and antivirus
• disable and re-enable the media services in the Network Settings on your PS3
