I have successfully connected my laptop to my Sony Bravia TV and can play video files. However, I have more than 20 GB of music, mp3 files than I can't find when I choose music on my TV. (I have added the folder to my library). I have checked all the folders but no luck. When I use a USB stick, my TV plays all the music. Your help is much appreciated.

To double check from the tv XMB menu your selecting audio ?
In serviio your sharing a folder with music files and on serviio console you've ticket the box for audio ?
Then when you select serviio on the tv your going into audio, folders....and you've got nothing ?

Hi
I'm new to the DNLA stuff. I am working on iMAC mid 2010 with OS X Mountain Lion. I recently bought a Sony 50" Bravia 2012 tv and I'm trying to play my collection of mp3 files through the serviio system. I added the local file to the shared library file. After launching the Serviio server and the console, I then go to the Bravia, select the Media>Serviio>Audio>Folder>music. "There are no items to display" reads the message. I'm using Serviio 1.4.1.2 What am I missing? Thanks. I'll be glad to provide log data if you tell me how to get it.

A new version of Serviio was released last week. It fixed a bug with playing MP3 files.
