But I am unable to see any srt files, in Greek or in any other language.
Tried through vista also, thinking that the desktops xp was the problem, but no luck so far.
When I check the enable burned in subs option I cannot the tv set refuses to play the movie.
Any recomendations?
Hi, yeah after certain firmware update there are smooth experience with streaming but subtitles problems still existing, I suggest that problem is in our language character set (I am from Russia and we share some symbols). First check subtitle file, it must starts from 0 line, its common that .srt line start from random number and serviio don't likes it at all. Second check srt files for uncommon tags sometimes its just purely converted .ass with a lot of trash tags. If you have tHiS KiNd oF pRobLeM check this link http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=17290&p=92995#p92995.
If you want use .ass I have very bad news for you, looks like Serviio glitching from huge arrange of style options scripts and tags, so if file don't open, its easy to convert subs to .srt, usually it wipe all style option and then I make all file with [italic] as I describe on link but its necessary only if you had similar problem. Btw You can post .srt sample here and I can do some test with it.
