Bravia KDL-70R550A no longer able to access Serviio

I have a Bravia (KDL-70R550A). Serviio has run with no problems for at least a year on the Bravia. Then, suddenly, the Serviio become "not accessible" about a month ago. Half the time the Serviio logo doesn't even show up in my list of media servers. Even if it does and I click on it, the TV searches and comes back with "server not accessible."

I have a Samsung TV that has had the same problem. We also have a Playstation 3 connected to a third TV that sometimes can/cannot see Serviio. With the Playstation, if I stop, then start the Serviio server it will see and use it with no problems.

The only recent change on my Windows 8 computer was a switch to Kaspersky Pure 3.0 from AVG.

I am not nearly as tech-savvy as most of the people in this forum so hopefully any responses to my question can be "dumbed down" for me. :D

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!!

AVG - at least in the free version - doesn't bring a firewall component. Can we assume that "suddenly" and "recent change" happened at roughly the same time, about a month ago?

Maybe the new security suite is a bit too protective. Can you disable it temporarily to see if you can access Serviio in a more reliable way?
