videos freezing - Bitdefender?

I stream with Serviio to my Sony Bluray player. I recently installed Bitdefender total Security on my PC and, since then have noticed problems with movies freezing every so often and then starting up a few seconds later. Also, some videos don't play at all even though they previously played just fine through Serviio. I'm guessing that Bitdefender is causing issues. Does anyone have Bitdefender Total Security and can tell me how to set it up so with Serviio so there won't be any problems?
