too many Serviio on tv

I have a SOny 40" Smart-TV, which registers on Serviio as Sony Bravia (2012). I get loads of dead Serviio links showing up on the TV as well as one Serviio link which does work. I've been using Serviio for about a year now, and the number of inactive links keeps increasing. I don;t understand why, and I can't find any way to remove them.

I also can;t find any way for Serviio to read from an external HDD, or 2nd HDD on my Windows 7 PC, and if I rename or move a file I have to reboot to get it to be sent through to the TV.

Thanks for any help.

hmmm. Not sure what's gone wrong now, but a functioning Serviio isn't showing up on my TV at all. I have eight dead serviio servers listed (which I can't figure out how to remove from the TV's media server list), but it can't find a working one. The PC's Serviio console shows the TV as being present, so it can recognise the tv, although the tv can't find a working serviio.

Just better add that the TV shows the Windows Media Player Server as working, so the TV can find the PC. it's just Serviio that's stopped for some reason.
I'm using Serviio 1.4.1.2 and Java 7 update 5 if that helps?

If you have multiple serviio (in grey) on your TV , it due to IP change on your serviio server.
I suggest to fix the IP address of your all your devices (check on your router settings).
Then on Sony TV Network menu, you should clear the servcer list, then refresh it, a new one that work should appeared (a serviio yellow icon).
