Massive stutter when playing movies onto Play Station 3

While playing movies on the PS3 I get massive amounts of stutter and pause from video and audio. I can pause the movie and the movie will load a bit and play just fine for like 10-30 seconds and then go back to stuttering. I'm not quite sure what could be the problem, movies were playing just fine on 1.5 but after the update to 1.5.1 movies have stuttered A LOT. I can not pin point the problem either it happens with almost every movie, and I'm not 100% sure how media servers work, so if all the movies are running through the WiFi do I need a great wireless router? If any one could help or just through some ideas to help fix my problem it would be much appreciated!

Does serviio make a liraby refresh during playing movies ?
Try disabling automatic library refresh on console.

Alright so after changing the library refresh setting to off, there is still no difference the movies still stutter no matter which kind they are. I don't know if distance matters but the PC that has Serviio is in a different room upstairs from the PS3 which is downstairs, so if distance is the problem then that blows!
