Hi all, I installed serviio pro evaluation 1.5.2 on a windows 7 pc to have a DLNA server for my 2014 sony bravia tv.

I don't want to connect the tv via cable lan or wifi, so tv and a pc are connected via tv wifi direct. there are not firewall other than windows' one. pc has the static ip 10.10.0.1, subnet 255.255.255.0, tv has static ip 10.10.0.12, subnet 255.255.255.0. in the serviio status pane, profiles listl, some devices connected to my 10.10.0.x lan are automatically displayed as unrecognized devices, but the tv is not, and I cannot add it manually because there is not the Add button to the right of the list, only remove and refresh. obviously, the serviio server is not displayed in the tv dlna server list.

Could this be a wifi direct problem? i say this because if I right click a media file in a pc library, there is not any custom link to send the file to tv media player; anyway, tv and pc result connected both on the tv and on the pc wireless panels. Many thanx if you could take a look to my problem, I'm an absolute novice to dlna and I'm a really frustrated novice.

ok, I had not enable multimedia stream in windows; now serviio on standard wifi works, but it doesn't in wifi direct, even if the tv is correctly shown with a green dot in the panel

Never used wifi direct but does it create a new virtual adaptor? If so, try binding Serviio to that adaptor.

DenyAll, thank you for your attention, it seems no adaptor is added when wifi direct is connected to Tv; in the attached file, in bound IP addresses, you can see the pc with serviio (10.0.0.2), but the Bravia TV never showed here; in the list window, you can see three devices belonging to the network (10.0.0.1-2-3) and yesterday the Bravia TV (10.0.0.12) was listed here too with a green dot: today the dot was yellow so I deleted it but was not able to add it again.
